Meatloaf

Ingredients:
2 lbs ground meat
Onion (chopped)
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 handfuls of Parmesan cheese
1 egg
salt, pepper, seasoning salt
Ketchup
2 tbs butter

Method:
1. Mix together meat, salt, pepper, seasoning and egg.
2. Add in breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
3. Add in onion and mix well. Shape it like a loaf.
4. Put butter on top and put it in oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
5. Baste on top to keep juicy (take juice and pit it on top every 5 mins for the last 15 mins)
6. Put ketchup on top. Ready to be serve.

Brownies (Aunt Zuliah)

Ingredients:
250g butter
250g brown sugar
5 eggs
125g flour
25g cocoa powder
200g walnut ground (optional)

Methods:
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add in eggs one at a time.
3. Fold in flour, cocoa powder and walnuts.
4. Bake in oven for 45 minutes at 180C.

Chocolate Chips (Famous Amos)

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup flour
1 1/4 cup oat (measure & blend in blender to fine powder)
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 oz Cadbury bar (grated)
6 oz chocolate chips (Hersheys)
3/4 cups chopped nuts- optional

Methods:
1. Cream butter and both sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add in egg, vanilla essence.
3. In another bowl, mix together flour, oat, salt, baking powder, baking soda.
4. Add them into the batter.
5. Add in chocolate chips, nuts and Cadbury bar.
6. Bake 10 minutes at 375F or until the edges becomes brown.

PS: The key is in the chocolate that you use, I think. I have used the more expensive chocolate. Now I understand why Famous Amos is so expensive! The amount of chocolate that goes into the cookies is so so so much, that it can be called "Sinfully" delicious cookies!


Scottish Shortbread

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 3/4 cup flour

Method:
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add in flour bit by bit until it become dough.
3. Let the dough in the refrigerator for 30 mins or overnight.
4. Cut the dough into shape and bake in the oven of 170C for 15-17 minutes.
