1/2 cup (120g) butter
1 cup (100g) castor sugar
1 1/2 cups (180g) all-purpose flour
1 3/4 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup (120ml) milk
Method:
1. Cream together sugar and butter.
2. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla.
3. Combine the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture.
4. Mix well. Stir in the milk until the batter is smooth.
5. Spoon batter into cups and bake for 20-25 minutes.
